War on mumbai and Indira Gandhi

The war on mumbai could not have been financed by a private individual or organisation. the sheer scale of the operation would require a funding of at least Rs 50 crore. To send 40 terrorists across to India to fund them and arm them it would be a costly venture indeed and would require lakhs of rupees worth of ammo and guns and funds. Come to tjhink of it a packet of Diwali rockets costs Rs 100. So much more would a magazine of AK 47 bullets and hand grenades. Therefore it is becoming painfully clear that only a government of another nation could have funded such a venture and provided the training for these militants.
This gives rise to another question. Were these people terrorists? Or were they regulars or commandos from some nations army sent on a death mission? We can never be certain but their training was definitely far superior to any militant we have encountererd so far in India.
Today I feel sad that we do not have leaders like Shastri and Indira Gandhi. Had they been arround there would have been a meeting of the service chiefs, police chiefs and intelligence officers today.
A plan to modernise and reequip the ATS would already have been in place after seeing lathi weilding and enfield rifle carrying cops being mowed down by ultras.
In case another nation was involved and another country had stabbed us in the back, a missile raid on its ports would have been underway and the IAF would be bombarding its major cities.
Today let us see what our leaders are going to do? Are they going to sit is a corner and weep?
