Unification with India can save Pakistan

It has finally happened Benazir has been killed by the militants in Pakistan and this will embolden them to take action against political leaders with impunity. this operation carrie dout in LTTE fashion like the Sri Lankan Tamil extremeists and reminiscent of the manner in which Rajiv Gandhi was killed in India. Emboldened by this act the militants may carry out similar raids agains political leaders in poorly policed states of India like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar too.
The extremists want control of Pakistan but they will not get it so easily, there will be riots and vendetta in the wake of Benazirs death and there will be riots and arson and killings in such a heavily armed civilian population.
The only solution to terrorism lies in a confederacy between India and Pakistan or the reunification of India the way the two Germanys united. It is time we break the Berlin wall of caste and communal polotics that has separated the two countries. Only then will there be an end to the killing.

The 2 countries have gone their own way for 60 years and now have completely different personalities. Lets see some reasons why unification is impossible (at least for the next 20 years).
Pak is an Islamic republic and military ruled, India (largely) a secular democracy. In Pakistan, the army is no. 1, 2 and 3 while in India the army is under the command of President and the elected Parliament.
Even assuming that the common people want unification (which theyn dont) It is inconceivable that the Pak army will allow itself to become a servant of the state rather than playing God as it is used to doing in Pakistan.

You dumb fools havent you got it yet? You are not India or Pakistani. You are a citizen of this world, and you have a God Given right to live and work anywhere on this world that God (if you believe in Him) put you on. Thats the right the Europeans enjoy, and so do the Americans.

1. I do not think India want millions of musilms becoming part of Inda and indoctrinate them to become secular and respect other religion.
2. Indians have always advocated peaceful co-existance. But muslims do not.
3. Muslims want peace with voilence whereas Hindus want peace with non-violence.
4. Muslims in India want to fight for Mecca but not for India
5. Muslims do not tolerate any criticism on Islam. They are indoctrinated to think Islam is the best relegion regardless of other religion. Hindus tolerate every other relegion.
6. Moslims do not want democracy in Pakistan. Rather they are ruled by Dictators, Imams or Ayothollas.
7. Before the partition 18% of the Pakistan were Hindus now there are only 3% living are Hindus who are persecuted everyday.
8. Since 1945 not even one new temple was build in Pakistan. Ask how many Mosques are build in India. On average one Mosque every month.
9. India has problem feeding, educating and looking after 60% of its population. They do not want another 100 million Pakistanis to depend on Indian handouts.
So let the Pakistan live on its own and destroy itself by internal power politics and by Taliban and Americans. India will go on becoming more and more prosperous.

I respect above persons opinions. But I strongly feel, Reunion will happen in future(may be in around next 30 to 40 years). It's not unification of India and Pakistan but unifications of other segments also. Pakistan, Bangladesh, Srilanka, Nepal, Bhutan & Maldives into a greater country called India. If Pakistan merges with India means, not losing of it's identity. it is like , if a river unites with Ocean, Here presnet India also a river ofcourse a big river...but all together form as a ocean.....a great Nation. The rebirth of this great nation again be a leader in all aspects, which has been it's birth right....as it has been for since 1000 B.C to almost till 16/17th century.
Hope all the citizens of these individual nations become again proud citizens of the reborn great nation.

Pakistan is a nice and colorful country. Similar to India, it has people of almost all religions.
On the contrary, it lacks harmony, democracy and good will. Hence, it is soon going to fail esp against religious fanaticism If not reacted in time.
India will see its repercussions if that happens. There will be civil war in India too.
Tajiks, Uzbeks, Pashtuns, Punjabis, Balochis: Please understand, India is more diverse than you are. Every state in India is ethnically different and speaks different language.
Religion:
No man made thing is perfect. And, religion is no exception to this.
No religion is perfect cause people keep on adding impurities and today it is necessary to understand that we are first brothers and then Muslim or Hindu or Christian or Buddhist.
Our enemies have increased since 1948. US China, Russia and Japan; All are our enemies and we must understand their hidden interests.
In the name of Religious war, US had destructed almost all of Iraq, Afghanistan and now Pakistan and Iran.
We must stand united against these forces. Our countries, though different in many respects, must learn to come together to form a largest democracy.

Following is my personal opinion.
Shun religion for it is the biggest mistake mankind has ever done. Jesus Christ, Emperor Ashok, Siddharth, Prophet Mohammad, Sai Baba; These were extraordinary but still were human beings and hence must have made several mistakes in their lifetime.
God is too great and human beings too small - This is gist of every teaching in every religion which I could never understand. Hence, it encourages people to kill others to save their religion.
Contrary to this belief, I am totally convinced with the western belief of liberalism. But that has caused another devastating effect to their society.
Most of the people here practise adultery, believe in polygamy; Even in Paedophilia, Incest and animal sex. Society here is shrinking and disintegrating cause of lack of belief and mutual trust.
Marriages have become a thing of past. Nobody likes to have children here.
Having said that, we must decide our path for tomorrow. Our decision would be our fate.
Mass killings in the name of religion, Civil wars, may be nuclear wars ?
Love people regardless of their caste, religion, color and Nationality. But, What about animals.
Gist:
We are first animals. No God gave us the right to kill others. If that is religion and considered moral, it is better to shun it.
True rationalist condemns his life. Kaliyug is soon to end. Sooner the better.
Suicide is another crime. Nature has taught us to live very tough way.

This is a n interim state which we are seeing currently. This may continue for some more time. Pakistan (May be India even) may get fragmented into federated states or even new countires.
Eventually, the long term solution for the entire South-East is to unify under one roof of Akhand-Bharat.
I am not an advocate of Bharat cause, this bug country would include Myanmar, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Mauritius and Sri Lanka.
Countires like Thailand may opt of of this unification.

It sure is interesting. But a recurring theme with you people is that ''Pakistan must join India'. Au contraire. If we're gonna link back up, you must learn to treat us as equals.
That being said, its not going to happen. We Pakis love our country. The generation growing up right now sees no connection whatsoever with India. We have neither any experience living with you, and our language is absorbing more and more Pashto and Sindhi words and diverging from your own. In a nutshell, we dont see ouselves as 'Indians' as past generations did.
An example. I saw this really dark skinned lady outside school the other day. Someone I know said 'Dude, she looks Indian'. So yeah. We're not from you.
Also. Believe it or not, we're not gonna fragment. As a proud Pashtun/Kashmiri Pakistani, I can tell you that with all certainty. We have also survived for long periods without aid. Considering we came into being with virtually nothing and made it 63 years on our own should tell you something.
Reunification is a dream. We dont wanna be one with you. Let's try being friends. Let's settle Kashmir.

We are a N11 economy. The per capita income here is double that of India's. The poverty rate is lower. The Literacy Rate stands at 60%. And we love our Armed Forces.
Most Pakistanis also have similiar views about Indians. They view them as very ''kala'', hideous and 'below them'. It's wrong. Please stop judging us and we might stop judging you.

2ndly india cant progress without ending baseles fight becuase pakistan is india close neibghor and for progresed country , peace is also needed in neghbour, look at USA who always fight war much away from his country and never with neibhor country, bec they knew war in nebhor can destroy usa itself 2. think india
