No Desi girl wants Rama

What is the new Indan society all about and what is the new Indian woman all about? Is Viveka Babaji the new example of the new Indian woman who is neither desi nor girl? A sad state of affars, if affairs is the word to be taken seriously.
We have today a new metro woman in India who contradicts all traditional Indian values and breaks all inhibitions and we have a new version of the Indian man today.
Today Ram is shunned and not desirable husband material for the simple reason that being married to Ram will mean years of strife after the marriage and the new woman of today is looking for thrills and not chills and goose pimples in the bally jungle.
What does the new Indian woman want? She wants a rich husband, a large car, lost of plastic money and when its over a courtroom to settle things in her favour fast. The Desi Girl is gone and what we have today is the Amreekan wannabe, or wannabee Amreekan.
Nobody understands social security in India today despite NDTV’s Do Hanson Ka Joda. They think it is a number in the USA. In India social security meant a comfortable home, social life and children and good values. Today it only means money, fast cars and fast women.
Unfortunately for the fast women of today the young (read fortyish) successful male urban professionals and wheeler dealers have become smarter. They exchange and run thru women trying to trap them into marriage faster than a call girl changes customers. As a result we produce a primitive tribal society in Mumbai or Delhi where everybody and anybody has slept with each other at some time or other and women attempt suicide faster than a speeding bullet. There is one catch though you may not be successful at trapping a slippery urban profession and platinum credit card holder into marriage but you may just succeed in killing yourself if you are not careful .
So is this modern yet tribal pre Parushram era society that we are heading towards in the metros of India? A society where young bodies loaded with oxytocin are full of excitement and fell they are God compared to their small town counterparts.
A real pity. If this the is the future Indian parents have foreseen for their children then they are pitiable parents indeed for having given their children all the wrong set of values.
